Pour la petite histoire, c\u2019est le club Rotary qui mandate l\u2019artiste n\u00e9o-brunswickois Winston Bronnum, qui n\u2019en \u00e9tait pas \u00e0 son premier projet du genre (la sculpture du c\u00e9l\u00e8bre \u00e9l\u00e9phant de cirque Jumbo, \u00e0 St. Thomas, en Ontario est de lui), de cr\u00e9er cet hommage monumental \u00e0 ce crustac\u00e9 qui fait les d\u00e9lices de milliers de personnes.
