Le P\u00e2t\u00e9 est une tarte \u00e0 la viande que l\u2019on trouve partout en Acadie. C\u2019est un mets essentiellement r\u00e9serv\u00e9 au temps des f\u00eates, m\u00eame si on le mange dans d\u2019autres occasions. Il serait cependant impossible de faire un r\u00e9veillon de No\u00ebl sans p\u00e2t\u00e9s \u00e0 la viande. On le pr\u00e9pare avec de la viande de porc \u00e0 laquelle on m\u00e9lange le plus souvent du poulet ou du li\u00e8vre, et parfois du b\u0153uf.
